On Wednesday, July 26, 2023 GOPC was honored to receive the “2023 Community Development Partner of the Year” award from the Ohio Conference of Community Development.
OCCD is a 170+ member state association of community and economic development professionals, with members that include staff from municipal and county community development departments, community action agencies, and consultants with expertise in HUD programs and strategic planning.
Alison Goebel, Executive Director of GOPC, accepted the award on behalf of the GOPC staff and board.
In her remarks, Goebel thanks members of OCCD who are “in the trenches” stretching dollars and administering program that demonstrably improve Ohioans’ lives.
GOPC appreciates OCCD’s recognition of its leadership and hard work and is eager to continue working with OCCD members to make Ohio a vibrant, state with opportunities available to all residents.
