On May 3, voters went to the polls for the first of two primary elections in 2022 to nominate candidates for statewide offices, including Governor & Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Auditor and State Treasurer.
More Ohioans in 2020 self-reported to their year’s census than did so in 2010. Additionally, Ohio has exceeded the national completion rate, with 70.6% of households completing this years survey. Nationally, the rate was only 66.8%.
Happy first day of early voting! As of Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Ohio’s election polls are now open for early voting. As we discussed in early September, October is full of key dates for voting.
