GOPC Honored as 'Partner of the Year' by Ohio Land Bank Association

Greater Ohio Policy Center was honored on April 25 by the Ohio Land Bank Association (OLBA) as the "Partner of the Year" during the association's 2024 conference in Akron

The OLBA Partner of the Year award is given to an organization that has exemplified outstanding partnership and collaboration with a land bank. The award recognizes the invaluable contributions or partners who amplify the impact of land bank initiatives through shared resources, expertise, and vision. GOPC has honored to have been nominated for the award this year by The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority.

GOPC has been honored to partner with the OLBA since the organization's founding, first as advocates for the enactment of Ohio's land bank law in 2010. Together, we have partnered in advocacy and support for Ohio's Brownfield Remediation Program and the Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program, which combined have invested $1 billion in the clean-up, revitalization, and redevelopment of thousands of blighted properties throughout the state since 2021.

GOPC is honored to receive this award from the OLBA and looks forward to continuing our partnership in the years ahead.
